Mechanical Air Separator
The mechanical air separator is a dry-type classifier which disperses the feed powder in an air current that spirals upward by the centrifugal force of a revolving disk to separate the feed into coarse particles and fine particles by the dispersing effect of the centrifugal force and the inertia force of revolving vanes. The separator has a built-in fan, and the air current circulates inside the separator. This type of separator has a simple construction and is suitable for processing large volumes of powdery materials.
